Going Green Film Festival
Project Description
The Going Green Film Festival encouraged filmmakers to submit their films where a portion of the proceeds would go towards Renewable Energy Certificates (REC).
Project Scope: Designs for the festival logo, banners, posters, billboards, stationary, promo mailers, website, mobile app, and a style guide for colors, fonts and branding.
Design Direction: The designs use some very subtle distressing and imperfections for an organic feel but keep geometric alignments and layout to maximize legibility. These graphics also had to be bold enough to be viewed from distance for the signage that would appear throughout the city and the recycled paper the promotional items were printed on. The festival's initials were wrapped in leaves to create an iconic identity. The lengthy website URL was staggered and had the first letters capitalized for legibility.
