On Location
Project Description
On Location is an annual film festival presented by NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) that celebrates LA's remarkable pool of filmmakers.
Project Scope: Branding concept, logo design, marketing collateral design, website design and coding, sponsorship deck, winner and selection seal designs.
Design Direction: The design incorporates the Los Angeles skyline colors of Sunrise Yellow, Sunset Orange and Skyline Blue. These iconic colors can be seen daily from downtown Los Angeles to the city's coastal beaches. The On Location typeface is set to Mighty Slab One to allow for legibility at smaller sizes, while the What is your LA? tagline represents the city's casual and artistic culture. The sun spheres represent LA's perpetual motion from sunrise to sunset and its synergy with the film industry.
